Finally Munich has its own Roomers Hotel – and with the grand opening of this well known Design Hotel Group the Westend neighborhood of the Bavarian capital, long praised as up and coming, is now officially a hot spot, as the hotel holds a special treat for its guests and visitors: the IZAKAYA Asian Kitchen Bar!
With the IZAKAYA Munich, Amsterdam`s institution of asian kitchen is further expanding into the German market and enriches Munich`s food scene with a sharing dining menu which combines modern Japanese cuisine with South American influences, as the typical for IZAKAYA restaurant`s Robata Grill, where the food is being freshly and transparently prepared.
Next to a variation of seating options, like the bar or intimate cozy couch corners, the long collective table, over which a handmade fish mobile is hanging, is the center of the restaurant and fittingly reflects the “authentic but not traditional” motto.
But the IZAKAYA is more than just another chic restaurant in a chic hotel: guests and visitors are being treated to a variety of options: the Roomers bar is connected to the restaurant and blends in with its contemporary design perfectly. But there is more than at first sight, as through a well-hidden door to the Hidden Room. A secret bar, reminiscent of the 60ies, completely furnished in red velvet sofas and a DJ booth. Surely a contender for Munich`s upcoming legendary party location!
A preview of what to expect could be witnessed on the opening weekend of the IZAKAYA, this 11th and 12th of October, when MUSIQUE COUTURE`s booking of female DJ duo WOS and AMEDEE TILL entertained the guest with incredible and stylish DJ sets!
